Manuel Krämer

Welcome!

My name is Manuel Krämer. I am a theoretical physicist specialized in quantum cosmology now working as a Programme Officer at the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG).

This website serves as a documentation for the research I did as a PhD student and postdoctoral researcher from 2011 to 2020.

From 2018 to 2020, I worked as a postdoc at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at KU Leuven in Belgium.
From 2014 to 2018, I was part of the Cosmology Group at the University of Szczecin in Poland.
I did my PhD with Prof. Claus Kiefer at the University of Cologne.

My research was focussed on the Wheeler–DeWitt approach to quantum cosmology and I was particularly interested in extracting predictions for cosmological observations from quantum-cosmological models, such as imprints of quantum gravity in the cosmic microwave background.
